Of Visions And Ambitions

Vision sounds fancy. Almost everyone has it. A word so commonplace now that even the darkest enterprise in the world has one. And it is such that a tag of vision is all it takes for any blind lead the blind.

That’s because it such a  very good thing to have, a cliche, catchword. Yet it’s one of the words that comes directly from God, like the church.

Straight to the differences:

Ambition is what we want to achieve through God

Vision is what God wants to achieve through us

There is God is both and there’s us

The mechanism for ambition is intuitive, logical you just want God to stamp it

Vision can be be counter intuitive, God leads and bring you into it

Ambition is from the mind, vision is from the heart

In ambition you use your mind , you have the mind of Christ

In being over ambitious you lose your mind

In vision God blows your mind because vision is beyond your mind , neither has it come to the heart of mind but the spirit reveal it

So a vision is given

Ambition can follow your career

A vision itself is a carrier that you follow

Ambition can be spoken for especially in the beginning, vision speaks for itself in the end in the beginning it is written plain

, ambition can be forced you can’t force a vision, it’s a force by itself

Vision are appointed in eternity

They outlive you

Ambition is timed , you can outlive them

In ambition I see my self, in vision I see beyond myself,

In ambition we make name for self, in vision the name of Jesus make us

Ambition is good

Vision is better

Ambition is within the permissible will of God

In vision, you are in the perfect will of God

It’s like building the Tower of Babel was ambitious- most time they are vertical like golden image of self for visibility

Vision most time is spreading out, multiplying , subduing , you see the horizontals dimensions to the uttermost end of the of the earth sounds more like vision , when your goal aligns with this that a vision in Gods global vision.

This is why a vision has a pro-vision from God, a source for which you are a resource. That He lit up a vision in your Spirit- His candle tells that you aren’t the source. For instance, BICQ is a vision. A birthed through you  makes you a vision portal, an earthen vessel to cradle His glory, for His will to be done on earth as is it in heaven.

Not that you don’t need men for an ambition, but not much as in a vision.  A part of the provision that comes with a vision are resources of mankind, it’s not a mine of work like ambition. You would need vision midwife, bearers and destiny connections to make a vision into a mission, money isn’t the first bit.

You want an exalted king like other nation, that’s an ambition

A child will be born, a son will be given and Government shall be over his shoulder 700 year before he comes that vision

Ambition is God doing as you say in his hears

Vision is God doing things while they are still in your mind

Ambition isn’t necessary evil ,being ambitious will not take you to hell, in fact the body of Christ is missing from not being ambitious, ideas and inventions are going to the children of the world because we commonise them, yet it wasn’t so when science began.

So being ambitious isn’t evil, It’s being overambitious that can be dangerous

The same way not having no a vision makes a people perish.

A God given vision can not be overeaching because vision by nature are bigger than individuals , He makes the provision , whom He  called he predestined, who he

Vision doesn’t have to be fitted into the 4 walls of the church but it always in God will. If you don’t have, key into the global vision of God for the great commission and yours will be clearer with time

While the world system has structure in place to nurse an ambition

Only God gives a vision and sustains it

Vision is what the world lacks Ambition is what the church needs

Vision is Divine,

Ambition is earthly

They both meet in us

Vision is what we operate as priests, to connect heaven,

ambitions as kings to reign on heart

Nehemiah building the wall of Jerusalem was vision, if he attempted the temple it would be ambition

Asking a child what do you want to be in future is a question of ambition. Asking God to lead you to train them in the way they should go is vision

Because each child is God heritage, has vision of God for them bigger than you the parent, and will outlive you, because before they were conceived God named them and before they were born he called them,

Ishmael was from ambition

Isaac was from a vision that initially seems will never happen with both menopause and manopause. While you can birth an ambition and set goals based on Gregorian calendar,

Remember you can’t force a vision to berth, they are for appointed time, they have to be made plain because by the time anyone is reading they are running with them.

It’s okay for some things to remain ambitious, but we can’t afford to miss one’s vision for their life

The struggle comes when we confuse the two , conflicting  the Lord say with I say, trying to

Don’t spiritualise an ambition or canalise a vision. It’s like squaring a round peg into hole

A vision is given , no man put this honour on themselves. An ambition can be taken, dreamt up and God can be involved profitably as you can see in contemporary godly and successful people.

The son of the prophets wanting to expand was an ambition in the house of God, it aligned with the vision of the school of prophet so they submitted it to Elisha to see first, if it aligns and he followed them, Elisha man of vision that see those with us than those with them didn’t initiate the expansion. ( where was Sheba I here? )

Just don’t try to adapt an ambition into vision, it won’t work out and never downplay a vision

In fact Charles Spurgeon  says the Pulpit is never to be the ladder by which an ambition is to be climbed

Spiritualising an ambition is wanting to pay to buy the HolyGhost , using the name of Jesus which Paul and Peter calls. In a vision, which is beyond your sphere, some other not part of the dozen would called the name of Jesus and it worked for them and he said he that is not against us is for us

Ambition is bringing ones two children to Jesus, and specifically saying we not only want them to make heaven but visibly to be at the right hand and left hand of Jesus, it’s regiopolitical

I must have identified myself well enough to separate which is which,

The eye a lamp onto my body, is like a lamp into my feet, identity, where am i, but if I don’t go from identifying myself, switching on the lamp of my eye to then light my whole body, there’s no point moving yet, or any light to my path, the vision has to be clear to me from my eyes, lamping my body including my body to extending to others the path
